The opening of the "Nomadic Melodies" concert, organized by the Choijin Lama Temple Museum to promote Mongolia's intangible cultural heritage internationally in anticipation of UNCCD COP17, was successful on July 24, 2026.
The opening performance was attended by heritage practitioners, including Mongolian State Epic Writer and Honored Worker of Culture A. Baldandorj, who presented works of Mongolian intangible cultural heritage, including national musical instrument melodies, long songs, khoeomii, epics, and biy bielge.
Throughout the performance, the audience encouraged the artists with warm applause, actively participated in the program, and created an exciting atmosphere where they experienced the wonders of Mongolian heritage and culture.
